 About the Merlot Wine Club:
     If Cabernet is King Arthur, then the mysteriously magical Merlot can be none other than Merlin himself. This wine is loved around the globe and especially deep within the inner chambers of the wine world for being such a playfully , mind-boggling enigma, wrapped up in a perplexing conundrum, hidden away deep, deep within in a mystifying equivocation of mouthwatering ecstasy.
     Some collectors and connoisseurs say that our Merlot is the ultimate balance point where the very best qualities that make up the perfect red wine comes together with the very best qualities that make up the perfect white wine. We think those people are pretty darned smart!
     Cherry red to plush plum purple in color, Merlot grapes ripen fairly early and so they provide lower tannis and higher sugar levels which produces a wine that is softer, more supple, rounder and much more approachable than most red wines. With a slightly higher alcohol content, this medium to dark red wine has a nose and palate that is distinctively fruity in character, tasting of black currant, raspberry, plum, cherry and sometimes even mint. Our Merlot selections are truly Awesome!
