somewhere between 12 to 16 ounces of premium quality, gourmet bacon each month.

*** What different types of bacon can I expect to be receiving in my “Monthly Member shipments?”
Our personal staff of bacon experts, including some pretty darned good breakfast chefs from many of
the best joints running along the 101, Highway 5 and Route 66 are always on the “look out” for those
rare and often, yet to be discovered “Top Notch,” producers, who know exactly what it takes to make
the human mouth start watering.
These are the guys who put the pedal to the metal to find those occasional “Mother Lode” bacon
providers that can be trusted to consistently stand clearly above and beyond the competition. After all,
we think our members deserve nothing but the very best.

*** How will my bacon be packaged?
Depending on the specific requirements of the particular bacon products being shipped in each
monthly featured presentation, the bacon will be shipped in the best possible manner necessitated
to ensure it's absolute safely and security, reaching your door in the freshest possible manner by
utilizing such methods as: (1) dry ice, (2) state of the art “Gel-Packs” and / or (3) specially designed,
protective thermal insulated bubble wrap, or any combination of the three to most effectively maintain
full freshness and integrity of the item during the shipping process.
Sadly these days, many of our competitors try to artificially force up the price of delivery by always
insisting upon a frozen and / or refrigerated method of delivery, but this is just an unfair way of
jacking up the prices of their products, because many types of bacon do not need the additional
expense of cold shipment, due to the natural curing processes that are an integral part of the
preparation process many types of premium quality, gourmet bacon.
*** Is it my responsibility to have to pick out each of the gourmet bacons that I want to receive for
my monthly membership deliveries?

taste of the Good Life.

All of our monthly membership packages are specially, seasonally planned out by our resident panel
of connoisseur taste testers, quality assurance aficionados, and associate Master Chefs, with the full

We’re more than willing to do the hard work for you, so that all you have to do is simply kick back and

*** How will my bacon be shipped?
We have a swell trained and customer service oriented staff of dedicated professionals, ready, willing
and able to ship our bacon anywhere in the country within 2 to 3 days. To ensure that your shipment
is never left sitting around in some postal service storage area over the weekend, we make it our
policy to only ship on Monday's, Tuesdays and Wednesdays , thereby assuring that you get it fresh
and fast!
Your featured, gourmet bacon will always be shipped during the current or upcoming soonest
“Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday,” based on what day of the week you make your order,and then the
following months shipment swill always be sent out during the fist week of every month following.
*** Where will the bacon be coming from?
Under most circumstances, the vast majority of bacon will come from North America, primarily the
United States and Canada, and dressed locally for the sake of freshness and taste. However, we
scan the horizons for the very “Best of the Best” and if our taste testing connoisseurs and quality
assurance aficionados happen to discover a truly excellent bacon that can stand up to our extremely
strict standards, then we will most certainly consider welcoming that bacon with open arms to the
Coastal Vineyards Gourmet Bacon.
With us, it’s really about making sure that every single featured bacon is an “A+” in the minds and
mouths of our loyal and valued members.
*** How should my bacon be stored, once it is opened?
It’s always best to store your bacon in air-tight sealed containers and kept “deeply” refrigerated as
much as humanly possible. Some bacons are cured, salted, dried and / or smoked, which helps the
meat maintain it’s integrity for longer periods of time that those bacons that have not gone through
such preparation.
Some people will freeze their bacon to ensure that it stays fresh for as long as possible while other
die-hard adherents claim that freezing bacon is absolute blasphemy of the very worst kind, and
suggest that you would be better off giving your “older” bacon a decent and respectable burial rather
than shows such indignant disregard for the reigning king of meats!
So, as far as we’re concerned, it’s really “your call” on the whole freezer topic, as we certainly have our
personal preferences, and of course, being that bacon is our life, we maybe take this stuff a little
more seriously than some do, but we’ definitely don’t want to take sides, one way or the other and
insult or tick anyone off!
