Scott Hams
Scott’s Hams is owned an operated by Leslie and June Scott. They have been curing hams on the
farm since 1910, they produce a genuine country cured product using a dry-cure method, which
means they are placed in a salt mixture for a given period of time at a controlled temperature, after
being removed from this they are washed, prepared and hung to dry. Following this they go directly
to the woods cutting green hickory. Then their hams are smoked until the desired pecan-brown color
is achieved.
Scott’s Hams ages their hams 9 – 12 months. They add no sodium nitrite, no sodium nitrate or
monosodium glutomate.

They are a regular recipient of the Kentucky State fair 1st place ham award, not to gloss over the fact
that they have 15 national championship awards for the hams. The best part of this family run
business is that they only have one employee.
I can tell you that their hams are extremely favorable and absolutely and absolutely delicious.
Enjoy!
