Meacham Hams

The Meacham family has been bringing you award winning hams for over 71 years.  The founder,
William Meacham, learned the art and secrets to curing great hams from his grandmother, with a
reciped handed down to her from her family before 1900!  Using this family recipe, they cure their
Derby hams for 5 to 6 months under strict controls, then put them in the smoke house, light the
hickory wood and leave them for about 2 weeks.  The result is a milder, sweeter, less salty, moister
ham with a special country flavor.

Their hams  have won the “Best Tasting” at the Kentucky State Fair.
