* What if I want to cancel a club membership?

No problem! There are no membership fees or cancellation costs of any kind whatsoever, so you
can cancel at any time, no questions asked!  You may cancel your ongoing membership at any time
by sending an email to the Company using our “contact us” page or by calling 888-493-WINE .  All
cancellation requests must be received by the 25th day of the month. Cancellation requests received
after the 25th will apply to the following month.


* What makes your Club different from other wine Clubs?

First off, as we said before, No Membership Fees, NO Cancellation Costs, and Shipping is always
included at NO Extra Cost! Besides that, every single bottle of wine is personally “hand-picked” by
our team of wine expert connoisseurs and aficionados. We personally visit each and every one of the
California Coastal wineries, where we get to know the owners and their families, their management
team and the winemakers themselves, before tasting and choosing ONLY the very best wines that
each vintner has to offer.

This is why, with Coastal Vineyards Wine Club, You can always be assured that each and every wine
that we deliver, is the “Crème de le crème” from the smaller, specialty production wineries. No mass
produced, “bulk” wines, No “close-out,” discount “bargain-bin” left-over, ever!
Our credo? We will only ship wines that we would serve in our home to our own family & personal
friends.

* Why can't you ship wine to certain states?
Since the sale and distribution of alcoholic beverages is controlled by each of the individual states,
we legally and ethically must abide by each state’s independently determined laws. We continue our
efforts of expanding our memberships throughout the country by meticulously complying with each
and every stipulation written into each states law books. As the legal circumstances of individual
states come into alignment with regards to our club memberships, we promise to constantly update
the latest information on our website regarding what States are allowing its citizens to participate in
our wine club memberships.

Please check back often for your states availability, as laws are changed and modified all the time.

* What is the proper way to store an already opened bottle of wine?
To prevent spoilage, simply push the cork back in to the bottle and place the partially empty bottle
into your refrigerator, where the wine should remain fresh fro 7 to 10 days.
Some people prefer to keep a few clean and empty half bottles on hand. They can then pour the
remaining wine into the smaller bottle and re-cork. Some folks use a “Vac-U-Vin,” which removes
oxygen from the bottle and creates a vacuum that definitely helps further preserve the wine.
Others actually go so far as to use small cans of inert gas, which are sprayed into the bottle,
replacing the oxygen inside with the inert gas... Then the bottle can be re-corked and kept
refrigerated. These cans of inert gas can be purchased at many local wine shops.
* Why is a membership in your wine club any better than simply finding the bargains available at
my local wine store?

A Coastal Vineyards Wine Club membership helps to ensure that you “ALWAYS” get the very top
quality bottle of wine available on the market, regardless of what type of wine you’re looking for, be it
the rich complexity of a French or Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, the sweet fruitiness of a specialty
Grenache, the lush, the balanced, light blush of a fine Zinfandel, or the full bodied flavor of a classic
Merlot.
Our experts cover the globe, tasting and testing, hand-picking only the very best wines, which are
then placed in a string of “blind test” screening panels, where people just like you, sample the wines
and grade them on a scale of 1 to 10.
Only when a wine has successfully passed the taste tests of both our trained experts as well as our
customer panels, do we give the wine the official Coastal Vineyards “thumb’s Up”, to ensure that
strictly those premium vintages that truly live up to the acclaimed reputation of CVWC are in every
single delicious shipment we make.

* Can I choose the monthly selections that I’ll receive?

Absolutely, however keep in mind that part of the fun of each monthly shipment is the excitement of
experiencing a brand new “specialty selection” for the very first time. So, while you certainly can
choose a club where your well defined tastes are accommodated to the “T, many other members
continue to enjoy the surprise selections sent out monthly by our Master Tasters, who pride
themselves on presenting ONLY the very highest quality and most delectable flavor, for your
personal, maximum enjoyment.

* What if I don’t like one of the monthly selections I receive? Do you offer any sort of a guarantee?

Absolutely! Your satisfaction is our ONLY Priority here at Coastal Vineyards. If you're ever, in any way,
the slightest bit unhappy with our service, you can always cancel your membership without cost or
penalty, at anytime, no questions asked!

* How long are your memberships for?

For as long as you'd like! We offer term memberships of 3, 6, 9 and 12 months, which qualify you for
additional discounts when you “pre-pay” in advance for your entire membership,  or you can simply
choose to go month to month, it’s totally up to you.
Remember, with no membership fees, no cancellation costs and shipping always included, you
really can’t loose. At Coastal Vineyards Wine Club, everyone’s a winner and treated like royalty!

* If I send a gift membership or gift basket, do you include a personal message?

Certainly! Whenever you place an order with Coastal Vineyards, you’ll always have the option of
sending along a personally drafted message, that you can either send my email or dictate right over
the phone, to our “Customer Service” staff member, who will be sure to send it right along with your
gift, placed directly in the gift packaging.

* Do I have to be 21 to join Coastal Vineyards Wine Club?

Yes, membership in any of our Coastal Vineyards Wine Clubs, as well as the ability to purchase any
Gift Basket including wine in it, is strictly restricted only to those who are 21 years of age or older.
Please be prepared to show I.D. upon delivery.

* What kinds of items do you include in your gift baskets, gourmet “Coastal Complimentaries,”
and Coastal Club Combo Packages?

Only the finest gourmet ingredients are chosen to be included in our premium gift baskets, gourmet

We scour the globe for unique and delicious, complimentary food items that are sure to please even
the most discriminating palates.

* How do you choose the monthly items featured in your clubs?
When making our selections, we look for two things: quality and uniqueness.
The quality is always verified by our staff experts, who are authorities in the given genre’ of the
specific product line being considered.
Uniqueness of each product is very important to us. You’ll certainly never find any of our “specialty”
foods and “complimentary items” anywhere on the shelf of your local grocery store or supermarket.

* Do you accept recommendations?
Absolutely! We are always open to discovering new, top quality, premium products for our valued
members and loyal customers, but keep in mind, that every product that is seeking a place at
Coastal Vineyards must pass the muster of our staff of experts in a long string of rather rigorous
tests, in order to assure that ONLY the very best is made available at CVWC. We’ve held to the
strictest standards in order to develop this reputation of ours, and we will never lower those standard
and risk disappointing a single member or customer, ever!

* What will I receive each month?
All of our club memberships allow you to choose the number of bottles of wine or items of gourmet
“Coastal Complimentaries” that you will receive in each shipment and also decide how often you
want to receive your special treasures from us.

Some of the most popular clubs involve the member receiving a monthly selection of 2 different
bottles of hand-crafted, hard to find wine, small production, specialty wines from anywhere around
the world that you choose. Plus we are pleased to include our extremely popular, helpful and most
informative “Message In A Bottle” newsletter, which is always filled to the brim with helpful tips, great
recipes and special “Members Only” discounts and bargains!

* Can I choose to get “only” red or “only” white wines?

Yes, absolutely! At Coastal Vineyards Wine Club, it’s all about making You feel at home and happy
with your membership, which means, “Your Wish Is Most Certainly Our Command!”
